Job summary

Kidwell is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to deliver accurate and timely project proposals for electrical services. This role collaborates with field and pre-sales engineering staff as well as vendors to build estimates.

Candidates should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4+ years electrical experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Lincoln or Omaha locations preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4+ years of electrical experience.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; must learn estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Creates/revises estimates, proposals, and change orders for Kidwell’s electrical services.
• Works with pre-sales and field engineering staff to build an accurate labor and material estimate.
• Identifies cost trends and suggests improvements to reduce discrepancies.
• Ensures all labor, materials, and subcontractor costs are captured in bids.
