The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in estimating software, BIM, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CM/EE/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 5–7 years of commercial construction estimating or related experience.
• Experience estimating electrical distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency with estimating software, BIM, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• Strong ability to review plans/specs and develop takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare accurate electrical estimates for commercial projects from concept to construction documents.
• Develop quantity takeoffs for electrical systems and maintain cost models.
• Analyze drawings and specs to determine scope, risk, and pricing strategies.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor quotations for complete scope coverage.
• Participate in bid strategy meetings and recommend pricing approaches.
