Fontanesi and Kann (F&K), part of Impact Climate Technologies, seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our HVAC-focused team. You will interpret drawings, perform takeoffs, and develop competitive project estimates for data centers, healthcare, and commercial facilities.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate, timely bids.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical estimating and construction.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and bid documents to determine scope.
• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from plans.
• Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and value-engineering opportunities.
• Prepare bid proposals and cost summaries.
• Coordinate with project managers and sales teams.
• Maintain estimating records and track costs.
• Stay current on electrical codes and pricing trends.
