This role demands ownership of bids and collaboration with project teams. The position requires 2+ years in electrical estimating (commercial preferred), 5+ years hands-on electrical experience, and a bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, commercial construction preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 considered a strong plus.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate labor and material estimates for electrical construction projects from drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Solicit, evaluate, and condition subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Price specialty and standard equipment; maintain and update cost databases.
• Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications and communicate them clearly to project leadership.
• Support value engineering and preconstruction pricing efforts.
• Hand off bids cleanly to project teams for execution.
