Job summary

MYK Global Solutions Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, seeks an Electrical Estimator to translate building ideas into real structures, while upholding safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

You will ensure high-quality electrical work aligns with project cost, schedules, and timelines. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of estimator experience in relevant sectors, proficiency with estimating software, and a solid understanding of electrical codes and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential construction.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, systems, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Licensed electrician (journeyman or master) or equivalent field experience is a plus but not required.
• OSHA certification or familiarity with construction safety standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Translate ideas and plans for buildings into actual structures as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee workplace health and safety to align with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction work within project cost, schedules and timelines.
