Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment USA is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing electrical construction team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will manage the estimating process from drawings and specs through to take-offs, pricing, and bid submission.

Responsibilities include preparing accurate estimates, reviewing drawings and bid documents, completing quantity take-offs, and evaluating supplier pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Estimator in electrical construction.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Experience completing take-offs and preparing bids.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials and installation methods.
• Proficiency with estimating/take-off software.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and bid documents.
• Complete quantity take-offs and develop labour/material costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor pricing.
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare bids, proposals, and project documentation.
