Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment USA is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing electrical construction team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will manage the estimating process from drawings and specs through to take-offs, pricing, and bid submission.

Responsibilities include preparing accurate estimates, reviewing drawings and bid documents, completing quantity take-offs, and evaluating supplier pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Estimator in electrical construction.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Experience completing take-offs and preparing bids.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials and installation methods.
• Proficiency with estimating/take-off software.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Electrical Estimator

Location: New York, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Onsite Salary: $100,000–$160,000 + Benefits

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing Electrical Construction team in New York.

The successful candidate will manage the estimating process from reviewing drawings and specifications through to take-offs, pricing and bid submission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for Electrical Construction projects.


• Review Electrical drawings, specifications and bid documents.


• Complete quantity take-offs and develop labour and material costs.


• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.


• Identify scope gaps, risks and value engineering opportunities.


• Prepare bids, proposals and project documentation.


• Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as an Electrical Estimator within Electrical Construction.


• Strong understanding of Electrical systems, materials and installation methods.


• Experience completing Electrical take-offs and preparing bids.


• Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings and specifications.


• Experience with estimating and take-off software.


• Strong commercial and organizational skills.


• Must be authorized to work in the US.
