Job summary

Commonwealth Holdings, Inc. seeks an experienced Estimator to lead electrical project estimates across multiple states. You will perform all levels of estimating, planning, scheduling and cost engineering to ensure accurate, competitive bids in a dynamic market.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency with takeoff software; you will collaborate with project managers, vendors and general contractors, and contribute to a culture of excellence and ownership.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Project Management.
• Equivalent experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Experience with estimating in electrical or construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-bid or team scope review meetings to understand the full scope of work.
• Review and understand project bid documents.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors and vendors for outsourced work.
• Evaluate bids for completeness of scope, schedule, and specifications.
• Assist project managers in reviewing awarded projects, change orders, and progress.
