MissionHires is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual and detailed estimates for small to medium-sized projects. You will analyze drawings, perform material take-offs, solicit and evaluate vendor quotes, and develop competitive estimates while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include applying estimating software, producing unit prices, updating quantities, preparing bid packages, and presenting findings to internal teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical/electrical construction estimating experience; electrical trade experience preferred.
• Strong ability reading drawings and Basis of Design documents; proficient in take-offs.
• Proficient with estimating software and MS Excel; solid cost data interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare preliminary, conceptual, and detailed budgets and estimates for electrical projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and Basis of Design to determine scope and content.
• Perform material take-offs and provide unit prices; update quantities and track changes.
• Develop estimate comparisons and bid package documentation for internal review.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotes and maintain vendor relationships.
• Interpret RFPs to clarify scope and assumptions; present findings to internal teams.
