Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience or equivalent education.
• Accubid/LiveCount experience is a plus.
• Proficient PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Customer oriented and able to meet client needs within procedures.
• Effective communication across mediums.
• Detail oriented with focus on project minutiae.
• Time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete cost estimates for electrical projects.
• Monitor program of work to ensure estimates meet deadlines.
• Schedule and attend field walk-throughs with customers, subcontractors, and construction personnel.
• Compare project documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in estimate review process with stakeholders.
• Follow up at project end to close loops in estimating process.
• Gather proposals, drawings, specifications and related documents for estimates.
• Consult with customers and project managers to gather information.
• Obtain bids from vendors and components for accuracy.
