Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for utility, infrastructure, and civil construction projects. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret drawings, bid documents, and specifications.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field required.
• 5+ years estimating utility or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and industry standards.
• Experience with electrical estimating for data centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review bids and drawings to determine project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate pricing and contingencies with stakeholders.
• Support handoff from estimating to project management post-award.
