Job summary

Morley Moss, Inc in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our Preconstruction and Estimating team. The role reports to the department manager and supports bid preparation, scope development, and cost analysis across electrical construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of electrical construction estimating experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with Accubid and MS Office. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in the electrical construction industry.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation.
• Working knowledge of NEC.

Responsibilities

• Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future projects.
• Consult with clients, vendors and field personnel to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates used by management for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Review quotes from subcontractors for scope of work as per plans and specs.
• Coordinate take-offs and pricing changes with project managers.
