Job summary

IES Commercial Inc dba IES Electrical seeks an Electrical Estimator to drive accurate bids for commercial and industrial projects from concept to turnover. You will coordinate with suppliers, subs, and internal teams while adhering to codes and safety standards.

The role requires recent experience in electrical estimating, strong communication skills, and proficiency with estimating software. This full-time position is based in Nebraska with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Recent experience or education in electrical field work, estimating, or engineering.
• Working knowledge of blueprints, specifications, applicable codes, and regulations.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to work efficiently with estimating software.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate bids for commercial and industrial projects.
• Coordinate project scopes with codes and stakeholders.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and customers throughout bidding and turnover.
• Travel as required and maintain safety policies.
