Job summary

Erwin Electric is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support a diverse range of commercial projects in the Tampa area. You will review plans, perform takeoffs, analyze costs, and develop competitive bids with a focus on accuracy and collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction, strong system knowledge, and proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, LiveCount, Bluebeam).

Qualifications

• 3+ years electrical estimating experience.
• Experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods.
• Experience reviewing plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Field experience is a plus.

We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to support projects ranging from $500K to $10M+, including schools, healthcare facilities, auto dealerships, churches, retail centers, multifamily developments, manufacturing facilities, and other commercial projects. They value estimators who embrace technology and are always looking for better ways to improve accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration. Our team leverages modern estimating tools and processes rather than relying on outdated methods.

In this role, you'll work closely with leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to develop accurate, competitive bids that help drive company growth and project success.

What You'll Do:
