Job summary

Dynalectric Company San Diego is seeking an Electrical Estimator responsible for estimating and pricing bid quotations and bid packages, under general supervision. The role requires experience in preparing cost estimates for construction projects and services to aid management in bidding and pricing decisions.

The position involves collaborating with clients, vendors, and engineers, performing take-offs, and maintaining pricing in estimating software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years estimating/preconstruction experience (or 5+ years in construction).
• HD or GED required; engineering/construction degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, calculate, and compile cost estimates for electrical projects.
• Consult with clients/vendors/engineers to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates for management planning and bidding.
• Review drawings and specifications to prepare time, material, and labor estimates.
• Coordinate with team and subcontractors for quotes and take-offs.
