Job Details

We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to Join our Team. Successful candidates will have a background working as an Electrician or Electrical Engineering with an Electrical Contractor or Commercial Construction Firm. Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the commercial, industrial and residential electrical industry.

Requirements

• 4+ years of electrical experience
• Estimation Software including ConEst Intellibid & Bluebeam Revu Desired
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and electrical codes
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Perform mathematical calculations
• Diagnose and resolve problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Able to use ladder and work with heights
• Must have a current driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must posses a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent training
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test
• Must have acceptable criminal background checks (Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151)
  
  

Duties

• Installs and repairs electrical equipment and fixtures
• Installs various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoots motor and control systems
• Performs routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adheres to all quality and safety codes
• Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment
• Interprets blueprints, schematics and manufacturers’ specifications
• Instructs apprentices and assistants in the techniques and procedures employed in the electrical trade; inspect apprentices’ work to determine that they follow the necessary operations and that works conforms to specifications
• Supervises (1) or more apprentice(s)
