Requirements: 5yrs exp in Electrical Construction, Electrical Estimating, CAD and Accubid/Bluebeam

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely electrical estimates for various projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards. This role involves collaborating with project teams to provide cost-effective solutions and contribute to the overall success of our projects over our coverage area accross Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This position is in 8-10 hour shifts M-F, and overtime is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to prepare comprehensive electrical estimates.
• Utilize Accubid and CAD software to facilitate accurate take-offs and pricing.
• Analyze bid documents and identify project requirements and risks.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Prepare detailed and organized cost breakdowns and proposals.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance in estimates.
• Assist in project management tasks as needed, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Support the negotiation of contracts and manage client relations during the estimating process.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ Years experence in Electrical Contruction (commercial, multi-family, residential new construction preferred)
• 5+ years experience in Electrical Estimating
• Proficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam or other estimating software
• CAD experience
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems & NEC Standards
