Job Summary: Assist the Head Electrical Estimator with cost estimates and bids for commercial electrical projects. Some electrical experience—field or office—is required. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes is essential. The role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate pricing and scope.

• Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Short- and Long-Term Disability(eligible after 30 days)
• Group Term Life Insurance:$50,000 policy provided
• Vacation:3 weeks total (limited to 1 week in the first 6 months)
• 401(k) Plan:with company contribution potential

Requirements:

• Experience in the electrical field (commercial field work or office-based estimating/project support)
• Experience in construction estimating, procurement, or project coordination
• Familiarity with construction drawings and technical documents
• Previous use of estimating software preferred
• Strong math, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze construction plans and specs to prepare detailed cost estimates for labor and materials
• Identify cost risks, material waste, and potential project delays; recommend solutions
• Assist in developing schedules and layouts for electrical distribution systems
• Contribute to system design recommendations including service locations, wire and transformer sizes
• Review residential, commercial, and industrial project plans to assess electrical requirements
• Source and negotiate supplier pricing; maintain cost history databases for efficiency
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure bid accuracy and scope completeness
