Position:

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Estimator with 4-5 years of electrical estimating expertise, specifically for mission-critical projects. The Estimator will assess project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, and contribute to executing high-profile electrical installations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Assessment:
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project technical requirements.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and documents to identify key elements.
  • Use industry-standard estimating software to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Analyze project components to develop comprehensive budgets.
  1. Bid Preparation:
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids timely.
  • Coordinate with procurement for accurate pricing.
  • Evaluate risks and incorporate mitigation strategies.
  • Suggest cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.
  • Align estimates with project budgets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations for accurate estimates.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Trimble Estimation software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 4-5 years of electrical estimating experience, focusing on mission-critical projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
