Job summary

gpac is partnering with an electrical contractor urgently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to develop accurate, competitive estimates.

Duties include reviewing bids, budgeting from schematics, drafting proposals, reading drawings, and coordinating with project managers. 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience, knowledge of NEC, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of electrical estimating experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience utilizing estimating software applications
• Knowledge of general construction practices
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Codes

Responsibilities

• Manage and review subcontractors' and vendors' bids, proposals and Bills of Materials
• Perform budget pricing from schematic drawings and narrative
• Draft scope letters, proposals and vendor solicitations
• Work under deadlines efficiently and in a composed manner
• Identify inconsistencies in bid documents and resolve issues
• Communicate with project managers and general contractors to ensure timely, high-quality estimates
• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings and specifications
• Develop and maintain client relationships

I am partnered with an Electrical Contractor who is urgently looking for an Electrical Estimator to add to their growing team. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a positive and outgoing attitude. The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates.
