Job summary

Revolution Power Solutions, a division of INNIO Waukesha Engines, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and implement electrical systems for power generation and oilfield equipment in Waller, TX. You will lead electrical schematics, control panels, and FAT testing.

The role collaborates with engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing to deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions for critical energy applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, machinery manufacturing, or modular equipment packaging.
• Experience with UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC; strong troubleshooting and wiring aptitude; familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities

• System Design: Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, and BOMs for packaged equipment, skids and control cabinets.
• Controls & Programming: Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Component Sizing: Size and specify electrical components, motors, sensors, transformers, and safety relays based on load requirements.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct FAT and functional testing before customer delivery.
• Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with mechanical and packaging design teams for thermal management and wire routing.

About The Role

Revolution Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our growing team in Waller, Texas. This role is key to our mission of delivering high-performance power systems for critical energy and industrial applications. You’ll be hands-on assembling advanced power generation equipment, ensuring every unit meets rigorous quality and safety standards.

Role Summary

Design and development of electrical systems for our power generation and oilfield equipment. This role will focus onelectrical component and system design, includingone-line diagrams, load lists, BOM creation, testing procedures, and system troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will collaborate withengineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to delivercost-effective, reliable, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, and bill of materials (BOMs) for packaged equipment, skids and control cabinets
• Controls & Programming: Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Component Sizing: Size and specify electrical components, motors, sensors, transformers, and safety relays based on load requirements and NEC/IEC standards
• Testing & Validation: Conduct point-to-point checks, functional testing, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) before customer delivery
• Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with mechanical and packaging design teams to ensure proper thermal management, enclosure integrity, and wire routing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial automation, machinery manufacturing, or modular equipment packaging.
• Industrial control panel standards (UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC). Strong troubleshooting ability, hands-on wiring aptitude, and clear technical. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.
