Job summary

INNIO is seeking an Electrical Equipment Packaging Engineer to join our Revolution Power Solutions team in Waller, Texas. The role focuses on electrical component and system design for power generation equipment, including one-line diagrams, BOM creation, testing procedures, and system troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, machinery manufacturing, or modular equipment packaging.
• Experience with UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC; strong wiring aptitude and troubleshooting skills; familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, and BOMs for packaged equipment, skids, and control cabinets.
• Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Size and specify electrical components, motors, sensors, transformers, and safety relays per load and standards.
• Conduct FAT, functional testing, and point-to-point checks prior to delivery.
• Coordinate with mechanical and packaging teams to ensure thermal management and enclosure integrity.
