Job summary

Hana Technologies Inc. in Solon, Ohio is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to support RFID product manufacturing through detailed inline and offline RF test characterization and failure analysis to drive product improvements.

You will execute test plans, operate equipment such as Voyantic and Hana developed test systems, and collaborate across manufacturing teams while following ESD and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or test equipment.
• Experience with RFID applications is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and basic math aptitude.
• Follows detailed instructions and safety protocols (ESD, gowning).

Job description

Work collaboratively to meet goals for the design and creation of products contributing to the overall success of Hana. Execute inline and offline RF test characterization processes to support the manufacturing of RFID products. Perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failed tests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or experience working with electrical test equipment and electrical circuits (VNA, oscilloscopes, soldering, etc..)
• Previous experience in RFID applications as electrical engineering tech is preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience (microelectronic manufacturing preferred).
• Computer literate and basic math skills.
• Able to comprehend and communicate documentation utilized in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in overtime requests and off shift training as business needs require.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions & adhere to ESD, gowning/safety protocols.

Essential Job Functions:

• Drive validation tasks at various launch stages
• Execute test plans for functionality and reliability of RFID products.
• Evaluate equipment and tooling to support manufacturing processes
• Evaluate, purchase, and install RF test equipment.
• Support failure analysis process to drive product improvements.
• Operate in a safe manner and utilize all required PPE.
• Assist with equipment installations, start-up and qualifications.
• RFID Assembly: Manual application of paste and die to make Inlays and Tire Tags.
• RFID Test: Operation, set-up, changeover, troubleshooting of test equipment e.g., Voyantic and Hana developed Test systems, Anechoic Chamber.
• Performance and characterization testing of microelectronic parts as needed.
• Tech level troubleshooting of equipment.
