Job summary

G-Tech is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and commission sophisticated industrial automation systems. You will develop PLC and HMI solutions, design electrical control panels, and support startup activities at customer facilities.

You will collaborate with installation teams, train plant personnel, ensure safety compliance, and produce technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. A technical degree and 2–4 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 2–4 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial automation projects desired.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics for automated systems.
• Develop PLC programs to control machine sequences and processes.
• Configure HMI applications for operator interface and monitoring.
• Create electrical control panel layouts and documentation using AutoCAD.
• Integrate servo drive hardware and software into equipment.
• Perform testing, debugging, commissioning and startup support at customer sites.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on operation and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
• Support compliance with electrical and machine safety standards.

Skilled in PLC and HMI development, electrical control panel design, pneumatic and hydraulic system design, and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment. Proficient in AutoCAD, servo drive systems, electrical schematics, and machine startup support. Experienced in collaborating with installation teams, training plant personnel, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
