Job summary

Moog seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician for an onsite, first-shift role in Highland Heights, OH. You will build and test products per engineering docs, perform soldering, calibration, and testing, and maintain thorough test records. Strong English comprehension and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

You will report to the Business Unit Engineering Manager and work with a team in Space and Defense. Compensation includes a robust package and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Use work instructions to build and test products on a component and system level.
• Perform all steps in the manufacturing process (soldering, masking, assembly, calibrating, testing).
• Follow documentation and drawings from the engineering team to build and test products.
• Create test reports and certifications of compliance.
• Keep clear and organized documentation for all steps in the manufacturing process.
• Document and check calibration status of test equipment used for testing.
• Record data and analysis from qualification testing in an organized manner.

Work Schedule: Onsite - Cleveland, OH

Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join them. You will report to the Business Unit Engineering Manager and will have an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in Highland Heights, Ohio.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At Least 5 years of relevant experience

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will:

• Use work instructions to build and test products on a component and system level.
• Perform all steps in the manufacturing process (i.e., soldering, masking, assembly, calibrating, testing).
• Follow documentation, drawings, and instructions from the engineering team to build and test products without work instructions.
• Create test reports and certifications of compliance.
• Keep clear and organized documentation for all steps in the manufacturing process.
• Document and check calibration status of test equipment properly when used for testing.
• Record all data and analysis from qualification testing in an organized and effective manner
