Job summary

ETS Staffing is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician for a full-time, in-person role in Vermont. The position offers a first-shift schedule, weekly pay, and benefits, with an hourly rate of $26-$32.

Responsibilities include interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics, assembling and testing electrical systems, diagnosing issues, and supporting production teams from design through to production. An Associate degree and SolidWorks Electrical CAD experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in related field.
• CAD experience with SolidWorks Electrical.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical codes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Your day-to-day as a Electrical Engineering Technician:

• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering instructions for product assembly
• Assemble and test electrical systems and prototypes using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Develop and execute diagnostic tests to troubleshoot and resolve design or component issues
• Collaborate with production teams to provide guidance on wiring procedures and resolve electrical problems
• Maintain accurate documentation of testing, design changes, and technical records
• Support engineering projects from initial design through to production implementation

Your skills and experience:

• Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards such as NEC
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
