Bodwé Group Companies in Abilene, TX seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician to perform engineering and technician services for FSRM projects, including maintenance, repairs, and QA/QC. The role requires handling documents, procurement, and coordination with contractors on site.
The position is a contract with a start anticipated Sept 2026; 40-hour work weeks, onsite in a professional office and construction environments, with travel as needed.

This position is for a contract in which the Company is pursuing. The position will be available upon successful contract award to the Company. The government has not provided an official start date for this contract, but the current contract expires September. Therefore, we anticipate an expected start date of September 2026.
The Electrical Engineering Technician position shall perform Engineering and Engineering Technician services required to develop, plan, program and execute Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) projects. The role includes all related administrative services required to perform unscheduled work, sustainment work (preventive maintenance), corrective maintenance and enhancement work including: minor repair work, building automation or controls, and material requisitioning. The position will also provide QA/QC and any necessary correspondence to meet work statement requirements.

This role primarily operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a quiet, climate‑controlled environment. It requires periodic travel to project sites, including locations undergoing renovation or active construction, where employees may encounter non‑temperature‑controlled environments, construction noise, dust, and other typical site conditions. The role may require work during atypical hours at the request of the client or role demands.
