Job summary

BW Papersystems, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Group, seeks a senior Electrical Engineering leader to guide a team in the design and analysis of electrical systems for corrugated equipment. You will drive standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate across sales, service, and operations to meet product launch timelines.

Travel is ~30% (potentially international) as you engage with customers and suppliers to ensure robust electrical solutions and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; master's preferred.
• Typically requires 10+ years in design/R&D.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in drives (servo, VFD, stepper) and motors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Engineers and Designers for Corrugated New Equipment and Upgrades.
• Define electrical design standards, governance, and compliance.
• Collaborate with sales, field service, and operations to meet specs and deadlines.
• Interface with OEM suppliers and drive product development strategies.
• Lead safety reviews and regulatory design reviews.
