Job summary

Konecranes in Wisconsin, New Berlin seeks a Supervisor of Electrical Engineering KNES to lead the electrical engineering team and oversee design of motor controls and power systems for overhead cranes. You will direct design, testing, and startup of control systems, review NEC compliance, mentor engineers, and coordinate with manufacturing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• BSEE or BSEET degree required.
• 5–10 years electrical engineering/drafting experience including PLC and HMI.
• Experience with NEC code and safety standards.
• Ability to lead teams up to 20 people and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct electrical design for crane projects and controls systems.
• Review SCCR, arc flash analyses, and panel ratings.
• Oversee PLC and HMI programming and testing.
• Coordinate with customers and other departments to meet specs.
• Prepare single line diagrams and panel layouts.
• Lead and mentor electrical engineers and draftspeople.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
