Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an Electrical Engineering Supervisor for our Lynnwood, WA facility. The role leads engineers and technicians, directs multiple projects, and drives data-driven improvements while ensuring safety and process standardization.

You will oversee staffing, resource planning, and alignment with strategic objectives, fostering technical growth and implementing lean practices within a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in aerospace product design and manufacturing.
• 3+ years as a lead or supervisor.
• Knowledge: budgeting, planning, and assigning resources.
• Skills/Abilities: leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to assigned engineering staff and manage multiple projects in a fast paced product development environment.
• Manage the team by organizing work and setting priorities.
• Hire and develop a skilled, technically proficient, and motivated team.
• Develop and execute data-driven action plans to enhance standard work, team performance, and project outcomes.
• Plan, organize, and lead multiple projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting.
• Provide technical management oversight of assigned work.
• Determine resources, tools and processes needed to support legacy and new development programs.
• Ensure standardization of products and processes.
• Sustain a safe workplace through the establishment and support of Company policy.
• Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of the Crane Business System
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of the Crane Business System (CBS), including facilitating kaizen events and mastering CBS tools.
• Communicate best practices within the Crane organization
• Assist in achieving Strategic Plan objectives
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
