Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in California is offering an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern position, delivering hands-on learning while supporting design and field activities. You will work with our engineering teams to draft electrical system drawings and perform sizing calculations under supervision.

The program emphasizes an interactive EDT-style path that combines technical tasks with mentor-guided learning, including lunch-and-learn sessions and exposure to real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Must be at least in second year.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus.
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
