Syska Hennessy Group offers an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern position in California. The role supports our engineering teams in creating innovative electrical designs and learning from senior professionals.

You will prepare design documentation, generate AutoCAD and Revit drawings, and assist with calculations and field observations. The program emphasizes hands‑on experience, training, and potential full‑time opportunities upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Electrical engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Must be at a minimum, completed your second year
• Previous engineering internship or co‑op experience a plus
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch- and- learn sessions
