Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles is seeking an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern to support our engineering teams on innovative projects worldwide. You will learn from senior engineers, prepare design documentation, and work with AutoCAD and Revit for electrical systems drawings.

The internship offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with lunch-and-learn sessions and exposure to our EDT program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Electrical engineering
• Must be at a minimum, completed your second year
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
