Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group seeks a Manager, Electrical Engineering P.E. to lead electrical design for manufacturing facilities, collaborate with clients, and drive project success.

You will mentor engineers, develop power distribution designs, and contribute to strategic growth within the Architecture/Engineering Process Practice. The role requires a PE license and ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering, with travel as needed; pay range is $160K–$200K.

Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve years in architecture/engineering facilities electrical design.
• At least three years as an electrical engineering design manager (preferred).
• Experience designing power distribution for industrial manufacturing facilities.
• Ability to present designs to clients and lead a design team.
• Willingness to travel for project requirements and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design packages for manufacturing clients across project phases.
• Lead a team in developing electrical design documents and deliverables.
• Build relationships within the region and with the Practice vision.
• Own client development, project profiles, and leadership planning.
• Mentor and develop Barry-Wehmiller Design group professionals.
• Develop new electrical engineering engagements and value propositions.
• Make an impact daily with technical skills and client relations.
