Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the ESAD Group through requirements, concept, detailed design and testing, while also contributing as a Staff-level Electrical Engineer.

You will coach engineers, drive best practices, manage hiring, performance reviews, and mentor for continuous improvement; familiarity with MIL-STD-1316/ MIL-STD-1901A and security clearance is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with extensive years of related experience; graduate degree preferred.
Experience with analog building blocks (differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, data converters).
Experience with digital building blocks (logic gates, flip flops, timers, filters).
Experience with power supply and conditioning design and power conversion concepts.
Experience with serial buses (UART, SPI, I2C).
Experience leading product development teams and managing projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the ESAD Group staff across requirements, concept, detailed design and testing.
Act as technical interface to internal and external customers and support RFP inputs.
Define, maintain, and improve development processes and best practices.
Provide labor/resource planning, hiring support, and performance management.
Mentor engineers and foster continuous improvement within the team.
