Job summary

This role requires strong leadership, deep electrical engineering expertise, and experience with CAN/SAE J1939 network.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering with eight or more years of related experience.
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred or related field.
• Experience with CAN/SAE J1939 and vehicle networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage an engineering team of Engineers, Designers and Technicians.
• Direct and coordinate activities of the engineering department.
• Provide coaching and development through performance feedback.
• Prepare and control department budget and forecast operating costs.
• Present and defend technical decisions to leadership and customers.
• Own overall project schedule and budget, ensuring on-time completion.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers as needed.
• Mentor entry level engineers on common projects.
