Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer P.E. in Fort Lauderdale, FL to lead design for residential and commercial high-rise projects. The role requires a Florida P.E. license and 10+ years in the field.

You will direct electrical engineering, develop plans and specs, mentor staff, and coordinate with architects, MEP professionals, and clients, with a leadership-track path toward Head of the Electrical Engineering Department within about a year.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical engineering/design experience.
• Active Florida P.E. license.
• Experience with residential and commercial high-rise projects.
• Experience with MEP engineering firms in the U.S.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering and design for residential and commercial building projects.
• Develop electrical plans, specifications, calculations, and construction documents.
• Manage multiple projects with quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Review designs and provide technical guidance to project teams.

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Electrical Engineer P.E. to join our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with a Florida P.E. license and a strong background in electrical design for residential and commercial buildings, including high-rise projects. Candidates must have experience working for MEP engineering firms in the U.S.

• Advanced proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD/CAD
