Job summary

Adsys Controls, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer (Senior/Lead) to design and develop embedded electronics boards for precision electromechanical systems in aerospace and defense.

You will lead projects, analyze complex issues, and contribute to system development, testing and deployment, working with the full engineering team. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong data analytics, and the ability to document and present

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5-10 years relevant experience.
• Strong data analytics and systems troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with engineering workflows: requirements capture, analysis, flow-down, development, manufacturing, testing/verification.
• Creation and maintenance of engineering documentation for systems in development and through to production.
• Highly skilled in data analysis and effective reporting of problems and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware for complex electrical and optomechanical systems for aerospace/defense.
• Lead small to medium projects and analyze complex issues to determine best development and test methodologies.

Job Description Experienced Electrical Engineer (Senior or Lead) to design and develop hardware for a variety of complex electrical and optomechanical systems for aerospace and defense applications. Responsible for design of new embedded electronics boards for precision electromechanical systems, electronics architecture design for new products, and troubleshooting of electronics issues in existing products.

A successful employee in this role will work closely with the entire engineering team to develop electrical hardware that meets system requirements and design specifications. The selected candidate will also lead projects of small to medium size in which they will analyze complex issues, determine the best development and test methodologies, and contribute to all aspects of system development, test, and deployment.

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5-10 years relevant experience. Strong data analytics and systems troubleshooting ability

Experience with engineering workflows including: requirements capture, analysis, flow-down, development, manufacturing, as well as testing/verification

Creation and maintenance of engineering documentation for systems in development and through to production

Highly skilled in data analysis and effective reporting of problems, as well as solutions, through written and/or graphical formats

Efficient presentation of information to all levels within the organization including peers and managers and also external clients, customers, and the general public

US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Includes processor, memory, peripherals, and power supply stages

Video electronics design using CameraLink, HD-SDI, and analog video interfaces

Experience with Agile Development is a plus.

Systems engineering experience and mindset is a strong plus.
