Job summary

Adsys Controls, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer (Senior or Lead) to design and develop hardware for aerospace and defense systems, with emphasis on embedded electronics boards and new product architectures.

You will lead small to medium projects, collaborate across engineering teams, and ensure designs meet stringent requirements, tests, and deployment milestones. Strong communication, data analytics, and ability to work under aggressive deadlines are essential

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• End-to-end design from circuit design, schematic capture, layout, board bring-up, debug and qualification.
• Strong data analytics and systems troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with engineering workflows including requirements capture, analysis, flow-down, development, manufacturing, testing/verification.
• Creation and maintenance of engineering documentation for systems in development and through to production.
• Ability to handle aggressive deadlines with a results-driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware for complex electrical and optomechanical systems.
• Lead small to medium projects through development, testing and deployment.
• Design embedded electronics boards and architecture for new products.
• Troubleshoot electronics issues in existing products.
• Collaborate with the engineering team and external clients.
• Prepare documentation and ensure designs meet system requirements.
