Qualifications

Electrical Engineering Lead - Mission Critical Infrastructure Projects - Hybrid

Currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to join an exciting client of ours who are a leading electrical engineering company focused on the delivery of complex mission-critical projects.

This is a key leadership position, responsible for driving technical excellence, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

As the Electrical Engineering Lead you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the electrical engineering design and delivery of mission-critical projects.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to electrical engineers and design teams.
• Managing electrical design from concept through detailed design, construction and commissioning.
• Reviewing and approving electrical designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
• Supporting project teams with technical decision-making, risk management and problem solving.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and client requirements.
• Providing technical input into tenders, proposals and project planning.

You’ll ideally have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and mission-critical power infrastructure.
• Experience with systems such as UPS, generators, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, STS and distribution systems.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of design standards, engineering principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced project environment.
• Professional registration such as CEng / IEng would be advantageous.
