Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of electrical engineers, ensure QA/QC for project deliverables, and coordinate with HR and management on growth initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, project coordination, and experience with GMPs and sanitary design principles. A hybrid schedule is offered with on-site collaboration most weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field AND at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Associate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field AND at least 5 years of relevant experience
• If no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of electrical engineers to ensure department policies and procedures are followed
• Oversee team production and ensure quality control measures are taken on all technical work
• Support business development activities
• Review and approve staff timesheets and expense reports
• Mentor staff and provide professional development opportunities
• Coordinate staff resources and workload with other managers
• Coordinate with HR and leadership to grow the team and/or skillsets
• Work with the department managers regarding strategic planning related to growth and development of the team
• Provide QA/QC review of project deliverables for technical accuracy
• Maintain and update the Food & Beverage group's electrical engineering standards, specifications, tools, and details used on projects
• Other tasks as assigned
• A valid driver's license and approximately 25% travel will be required
