Mead & Hunt is seeking an Electrical Engineer Supervisor to lead our Food & Beverage team on a nationwide basis. The role includes supervising engineers, acting as Engineer of Record, and guiding project designs for large power systems across the firm.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with complex electrical facilities and a PE license preferred. This role offers remote work within the United States, with opportunities across Mead & Hunt offices and projects.

Mead & Hunt is looking for an electrical supervisor for their food & beverage team. In this role, the engineer will supervise a team of electrical engineers and serve as the subject matter expert and technical lead for all electrical food & beverage projects companywide. The individual will work closely with a specialized team of electrical engineers, serving as the supervisor and senior electrical engineer for the group. This is a unique opportunity to join Mead & Hunt’s well-established Food and Beverage group, working for a wide range of top-tier food and beverage clients with varied and interesting projects. Past projects include motor control centers, electrical room designs and layouts, emergency power systems, power distribution systems, grounding systems, and structured cabling raceways.
Responsibilities include serving as the team’s supervisor in addition to the Engineer of Record, mentoring the junior engineers, providing oversight of the design process, performing QA/QC, and performing high-level design tasks. The engineer should have extensive experience working with the design of large, complex, and specialized electrical power systems. Candidates need not have food and beverage experience but must have the desire to work on food & beverage projects and should have prior experience working on large electrical power systems in industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, CPG, automotive and/or oil & gas.

Salary Range: $140,000 and above – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
