Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc is seeking a Summer 2027 Electrical Intern in Oak Brook, IL. The position is an entry-level internship with hybrid work options, where interns will gain hands-on experience on real electrical projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities include applying coursework under mentor guidance, learning Revit drafting and electrical design including lighting and power distribution, and supporting senior engineers on diverse projects during the May–August period.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) May–August 2026.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn Revit, SKM, etc.

Responsibilities

• Apply academic education to real projects from concept to construction.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Learn basics of Revit drafting/modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution.
