Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Oklahoma City. This hybrid internship requires in-office collaboration at least three days a week and offers exposure to building and facility electrical design, field surveys, and CAD work.

You'll assist in producing power systems diagrams, grounding and lighting layouts, and construction documents under guidance from a Senior Engineer, while developing skills in SKM/ETAP/EasyPower and Revit.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support and be mentored in all aspects of building and facility electrical design.
• Conduct field surveys, calculations, and CAD tasks.
• Prepare power systems single-line diagrams, schematics, and drawings.
• Design grounding grids, lightning protection, lighting, and related power distribution systems.
• Assist in preparing technical and cost proposals and change orders.
• Interface with railway clients and utility representatives.
• Develop schematic designs into construction documents under supervision.
• Provide designs and calculations for power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
