Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Student Intern for our Muscatine, IA office. You will develop an understanding of electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems for various building and site infrastructure projects.

Under supervision, you will review drawings and calculations, coordinate with vendors, perform field visits, and gain familiarity with software. Local candidates in Iowa preferred and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BSEE degree program at an ABET-accredited university.
• Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Study electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems for building/site infrastructure projects.
• Review engineering drawings and calculations under supervision.
• Coordinate information with vendors and perform field site visits.
• Develop familiarity with engineering software and perform clerical duties as needed.
