Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Student Intern for our Minneapolis, MN office. The role supports developing electrical power, lighting, control, and communications system understanding for building and site infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, performing calculations, coordinating with vendors, and field visits, under supervision of a licensed engineer. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BSEE degree program at an ABET-accredited university.
• Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Local to the Denver area.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform and check engineering calculations.
• Coordinate information with vendors.
• Perform field site visits.
• Back-check drawings and gain familiarity with computer software.
• Assist with design tasks under supervision of an engineer.
