Kimley-Horn in Everett, Washington is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our Power Delivery team in the Everett office. This is not a remote position.

You will participate in Pre-Design and Design activities, including field investigations, drawings setup, feasibility studies, and preparation of electrical design plans. The role includes energy calculations, single-line diagrams, lighting design, and coordination with cross-functional teams. Hourly rate is $33–$34.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify as-built drawings.
• Perform field investigations.
• Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.
• Collaborate on design coordination, schedules, and deliverables.
• Perform feasibility studies.
• Prepare schematic designs.
• Design electrical systems including ports & harbors electrification and EV charging.
• Develop reports and design documents including electrical design plans and power analyses.
• Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.
• Design lighting, controls, and power systems.
