Job summary

ANA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for an onsite opportunity in Cypress, California. You will join the Engineering team to work on commercial power generation equipment, hybrid energy systems, and control projects, gaining hands-on experience under experienced mentors.

The internship features onsite work and flexibility around school schedules, reporting to the Director of Engineering. You will contribute to hardware development, testing, documentation, and design reviews while

Qualifications

Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems, and control systems.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical is preferred.
Exposure to PLCs, CANbus, generator controls, or battery systems is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with oscilloscopes and multimeters is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Assist with electrical schematic creation and revisions.
Support generator controls, battery systems, and hybrid energy projects.
Create wiring schematic, harness drawing and BOM.
Build, test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical prototypes.
Assist with product certification testing and documentation.
Analyze electrical test data and prepare engineering reports.
Participate in design reviews and engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Software, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Research new electrical technologies and recommend improvements.
