Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems, and control systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical is preferred.
• Exposure to PLCs, CANbus, generator controls, or battery systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with oscilloscopes and multimeters is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical schematic creation and revisions.

• Create wiring schematic, harness drawing and BOM.
• Build, test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical prototypes.
• Assist with product certification testing and documentation.
• Analyze electrical test data and prepare engineering reports.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Software, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Research new electrical technologies and recommend improvements.

ANA is growing and we are seeking an Electrical engineering intern to join our growing team in an onsite internship opportunity in Cypress, California.

Join our Engineering team as an Electrical Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience working on commercial power generation equipment, hybrid energy systems, electrical controls, and product validation. This role offers direct mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to real engineering projects. The internship is a program is fully onsite and work schedule is flexible to work around school schedules. The role reports to the Director of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical schematic creation and revisions.
• Support generator controls, battery systems, and hybrid energy projects.
