Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Northampton, MA seeks an Intern in Integration & Test Engineering - Non-Automation. You will synthesize test processes for RF, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical systems and contribute from assembly to system-level testing under guidance of team leads.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, executing tests, and documenting results while supporting continuous improvement and manufacturing analysis. This is an internship position based in Northampton.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field at an accredited university.
• Coursework or experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience with test hardware and lab instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering tasks for manual and automated test processes.
• Develop test plans, procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, flow, and test case design.
• Execute system, CCA and component-level functional testing and document results.
• Use software tools and perform scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting.
• Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto devices.
• Perform root cause analysis and correction actions.
• Support Operations Manufacturing in failure trend analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
